What is Counseling?

Counseling is a collaborative partnership between the counselor and the client. Each session is designed to help the client overcome their negative feelings, choices and/or attitudes by identifying specific ways to instill hope, implement new strategies and enjoy long-term solutions.

My goal as a psychotherapist is to help you become more aware of the factors behind your negative patterns and encourage you as you develop confidence in new skills that establish strength in place of past areas of weakness.

Who is Counseling for?

Individual therapy is designed to your specific situation and desires.  It is geared towards adults, teens, and adolescents.

Couple therapy is designed to focus on the relational issues that are causing conflicts. It is geared towards marriage, premarital and dating relationships.
